They wed there and, after Doriath's fall, fled with her husband to Arvernien. Around the beginning of the SA, she and Celeborn founded the Woodland Realm of Lothlorien, and there she reigned as Queen for many centuries. During the SA she bore her only child, Celebrian, and was blessed with three grandchildren, inluding Arwen Undomiel. She was also the keeper of Nenya, the ring of adamant. During the War of the Ring, Galadriel provided shelter and provisions to the Fellowship. Having been offered the One Ring by Frodo, she managed to avoid temptation and refused it. When the Fellowship left Lorien, she gave each of them a gift; these gifts would be of use to each of them during their different journeys. After the War of the Ring, Galadriel sailed to the Undying Lands with Elrond, Gandalf, Frodo and Bilbo.
